Camping

We went camping two different times in July with Aunt Sandy, Uncle Brett, and their sons Brady & Blake. (Brady is 12 and Blake is 7.)

The first area we went was Chepeta in the Uinta Mountains.
July 6-8, 2006

This is the field right next to where we camped. You can see my uncle's truck over to the right and their tent. Our camper trailer is over there too. We borrowed it from a friend. I had a blast shooting with bows and arrows (kids' ones of course!) in this field with my cousins. We shot them REALLY high and then ran to find them.

Getting ready for bed in the trailer. I got to sleep on the bunk! Lane slept in the bunk the 2nd night and sat up and whacked his head!!

While dad was making the beds, he piled everything on top of Lane!

Lots of pine trees grow with a curve, but this one is REALLY curvy!!

The next area we went was still in the Uinta Mountains but on the north side in a place near Spirit Lake.
July 22-24, 2006

Mom wanted to take a group picture, so dad set the timer on the camera and took this. Front: Brady, Blake, me, and Lane. Back: Uncle Brett, Aunt Sandy, mom, and dad.

Then we took a FUNNY group picture!

OOPS!!! Mom saw me about to fall and snapped this picture! We were only supposed to be wading, but since I accidentally got wet, we got to SWIM!!

Mom also snapped a closeup picture of me before I stood up.

I loved sitting in the little waterfall. Blake and Brady having fun too.

Lane, Blake, Brady, and I had a lot of fun swimming in the creek!

Dad fly fishing in the creek beside our camp. He actually DID catch a few little ones! Brady and Lane are watching him fish.
