My first piano recital was a Halloween Party Recital! It was a lot of fun. All the kids dressed up in their costumes to play their songs...I was Darth Vader. I memorized 3 short songs and surprised my mom and dad by NOT taking my mask off while playing. They had said I would probably mess up if I kept my mask on, but I didn't! I knew I could do it just fine with it on. My teacher is the bride of the living dead or something like that she said. She's funny. After the recital, we had a chili dinner. Mom made her famous sugar cookies in ghost and pumpkin shapes. MMMMMM!!!!

Mom and dad said that I did GREAT! Afterwards, Mom asked me if I was nervous and I told her, "just a little bit."
